as you are using MC chances are that you are using the 64bit version. Make sure to grab the 64bit ELCollections.DLL from the MC forums (unless you already have it installed of course). By default the ADE.zip file comes with the 32bit DLL and this won't work in a 64bit software. https://www.multicharts.com/discussion/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=10094 it's located at 2. in the first post within the linked thread.

you are correct with your edit note. These are Object Oriented EasyLanguage (BNPoint, Rectangle etc.) and this is not supported in MC. You might be able to replace some of the functionality with legacy text and trendlines, but for some features there won't be an adequate replacement/workaround.
