Trading sucked the bag but my mental status improved. You would think it would be just the opposite right?
Several reasons for this but I think the most important is because I left the trading room.
Nobody was calling trades for me so my profits went down hill.
Psyche is better because I am taking responsibility.
2013 will be the year I build my own foundation.
If you always do what you have always done you will always get what you have always gotten.
Celebrate because you executed your edge. Not because you won.
1. Trading Improved, although $$ not as good as 2012
2. Time with Family Improved - my kids are shocked when I am not at home, or miss one of their games!
3. Health Improved - lost 20 lbs after seeing my giant bulbous head on Fox Business Channel (discussing PFG collapse)!
#2 is definitely the most important thing to me. By far.
For most of the year I was all about automation. Then a few months ago something happened, although I cannot quite put my finger on exactly what it was, but at some point I decided I wanted to become a full time trader.
My manual trading is better than it has been in any previous year. My commitment, desire and attitude is hitting all cylinders. I have a solid achievable goals and a plan that is actually written down.
Since I have moved over to manual trading I have far more time to spend with family and even a little more time for myself. This has been the best year I have had in quite a while. Looking to continue the trend in the coming year.
I am not a big consumer of fruits and vegtables.
We purchased the Nutri Bullet and I love it.

Noting is as motivating as seeing oneself on a public broadcast somhwere and your own eyes cannot believe what you see. 99.9% of the time it is your girth!
Top marks for doing something about it!
I am the same spot...saw a clip of myself at an open mike night a few days back. I have to get in better shape! 20 pounds would be a good start.
Answering the poll was insightful, never thought to reflect on these things, thanks. I voted:
- Trading improved.
- I spent more time with my family. (I got married 2 weeks ago!)
- Health worsened. (My physique got worse and nearly died one week when one of my chronic problems recurred while I was doing community service at a rural part of Japan and the nearest hospital was an hour's drive away.)
