I remember some of my holy grail strategies from a few years ago...thought it was too good to be true. Finally figured out my system was giving me entries a few bars before the trigger. So price would trigger then it would give me a price from a few bars before the trigger. This was giving me massive returns on all instruments on any time frame. Extremely easy to sell a system based on hindsight entries on IG. that's what all of these marketers are doing. I get several adding me everyday haha.
This is not that unusual.... Someone makes a post that we feel is naive, we pile on -- all with good intentions -- and never hear from them again.
This thread will probably keep going until everyone who wants to has had a chance to tell him that it isn't going to work, and then it will likely die off.
Are you going to give us anymore information on this? Because I smell BS. Sorry but nothing is 100% guaranteed with systems trading forex or futures. But heck share the wealth so we can all join if this is real!
I don't remember the exact setup but you can take any cross (sma, stochastic slow vs fast, etc.) and set the entry a few bars before the cross and you'll get amazing "returns".
Certainly possible, just need to handle the intra-trade draw-downs. Options can be useful hedging instruments. Lots of capital/margin and patience required. Works better with certain instruments more than others.
