Great work on creating this blog.
I am also trying to trade ZN, but looking for strategy to follow.
On you 4r chart what indicator is in panel 2 and where can I get it?
Have you traded ZN live? I have found on live DOM is that it is very difficult to get filled on your price as market starts moving. What's your experiance?
I believe earlier in this thread as well as in my last video (in the download section, or on the blog) you'll get a lot of detail in my setups.
Yes, I have been trading the ZN live. I always use a limit order @ the ask, so I get immediately fills. My strategy does not call for price improvement.
The bottom indicator on the 4 range chart is a volume indicator that I posted here in the download section called VolumeGraph.
Did not trade today, have been really under the weather lately.
This 3 tick Renko chart is a thing of beauty though, and wanted to share. I think I am going to stop looking at the 6765v chart now and replace my big chart with the 3 tick Renko full time.
The bottom panel is still the custom exponential linreg slope, I just changed the plot to dots instead of bars.
I really like, once again, how well MML did today and also how well EOT's Allas Avg did. Notice once price hit Allas Avg it was consolidating for a while, which was also in between the 3/8 and 4/8 MML's. Then we made a run right to the 5/8 line which is the top of the range.
Still working on tweaking it this week since I can't trade until next week probably.
It is/was based on Sharky's older charts. I still haven't seen the latest information on the new setup/strategy. Still have alot of catching up to do...
I am also comparing ECO2 to bband and trying to decide which I like better.
Try recalculating the MML hourly to see if you like it better, is an option. I fail to see what the BB is telling you that the ECO2 doesn't or vice versa, maybe you can point out -- they both seem to do a zero line cross at the same time.
Well I picked a lousy day to finally trade again for the first time in two weeks or so.
The ZN was complete crap all morning, in a extremely tight range and just hovering back and forth on Allas Average.
I took four trades. #1 was -4 ticks, #2 was -3 ticks, #3 and #4 were break even.
I don't want to trade chop so I just stopped after this. It's now about lunch time and that is when I stop for the day anyway, and we've still only moved like 20 to 24 ticks the entire morning.
As a reminder, if you haven't already watched my newest video in the Downloads - Educational section, I have changed the colors on my charts but have NOT changed any indicator settings with the exception of changing Murrey Math to a weekly line (calculated hourly) instead of a daily line.
Here is the 11 range for today, something I've been playing with as Sharky mentioned he uses it for his big chart. My last video showed the 11 range as well.
