All-in, all-out (also abbreviated AIAO) means that you are trading multiple shares,
lots or
contracts, and you enter and exit your position all at once. It is the opposite of
scaling-in and scaling-out.
Many believe that AIAO is mathematically superior to scaling-in and scaling-out. Many also believe that scaling-in or scaling-out is better suited for discretionary traders.
