The point at which profits are offset by losses. For a particular trade this could be across multiple
contracts eg if you go long three contracts and close one
contract for a $10 profit, the 2nd for a $20 profit, but you let the third contract come back and hit your stop loss which results in a $30 loss, you have reached breakeven on that trade.
