Time and Sales is a term commonly used to refer to the list of transactions executed in a market, and is also known as "the
tape." The following information is given for each transaction: the single price at which the transaction occurred, the time the transaction took place, the number of shares or
contracts traded in the transaction, and whether the transaction occurred at the
bid or the offer (indicating who initiated the transaction).
