I've been trying to find what exchange/symbol features Brent Crude futures and I've found them via my broker but they have virtually no volume.

Does anyone have the long/skinny on trading Brent Crude contracts?

The symbol is BRN, but it depends on the datafeed, sometimes IPE e-Brent, and is traded on ICE exchange https://www.theice.com/productguide/ProductDetails.shtml?specId=219.

Yeah, that's what I thought...I'm going to have to contact TradeStation about seeing if I can get data/brokerage on it.

The only thing I'm getting on my current stream are calendar swaps, bullet swaps and "last day in month x" all traded on the NYMEX.

I have occasionally traded Brent via NinjaTrader. Nothing special, you just need a broker who supports it and a data provided who supplies you with data. If you want to record replay data, you have to activate the recording under Tools -> Options -> Data -> Real time data.

Sign up for Kinetick or IQFeed so you can have historical data.

The historical data would come from IQFeed (or Kinetick, which is re-branded IQFeed). It would not come from NinjaTrader unless you are a Zen Fire customer, and even if you are a Zen Fire customer, so long as you are also an IQFeed or Kinetick customer, it would still come from IQFeed.
