Greetings to one of the best trading communities I know of:
As most might agree, Gomi's indicators are among some of the best and he has worked hard to answer many requests for changes or additions.
Gomi's CDHA bars offer a great visual for delta volume. As a trader, you know it is sometimes difficult to monitor everything at once "visually". To get right to the point, I am wondering if anyone besides myself would find an audible alert useful when the CDHA bar closes to a different color from the previous bar?
Gomi's CDHA bars have 3 colors. My request would be an individual audible alert/wave file for each color. A positive wave file for "blue", a negative sounding wave file for "red", and a warning wave file for neutral/yellow bars.
The sound logic would be as follows: After a triggered alert on the bar's close...of a bar's color change, a new alert would not be triggered again until the close of a bar of a different color. I would want to choose wave files that give a quick short sound since the bars can change so fast in a fast market on a tick chart. I'm using the CDHA delta bars on a 233 tick and some higher timeframes in the ES. (NT7)
In the case where the delta bars are moving and changing fast, would there need to be an AudioAlertRepeat= True menu option included so an alert change is not missed?
In many cases, a change in delta can be the first indication of a change in price. It would be a dream come true if anyone of you with NT7 programming expertise would be able to program the alerts into Gomi's CDHA indicator. I realize it's not that difficult to add an alert, although it would take me a month to figure out how to combine the logic of 3 alerts working together.
Thanks to Gomi or anyone else who would be willing to add the alerts to the CDHA indicator.
