EdsLevel2Dom_v1.0 is a histogram level 2 DOM applied as an indicator on a price chart.
Origonally known as Eds_Level2_v2.0 this version has been renamed and modified with adjustable margins and scaling flexibility.

After explicitly and laboriously adding various moving average types, linear regression, etc. to subsequent versions of my slope angle indicator, I finally realized that, in the indicator code, Input[0] refers to whatever price or indicator data series the user puts in the "Input series" field of the indicator parameters window. Duh. I reiterate: duh.
So, in this version (V5) I removed all the explicit options and changed the code to calculate using the Input series. Now, it'll simply use the values of whatever you put in the Input series field.
What it no longer will do, however, is allow you to measure the angle between High and Low or Median and Close or whatever. Now it'll just do High to High, Low to Low, etc. I may, in the future, add back the option to choose differing price values to start and end on, but you can still use V1 for that, if desired.
Or, if someone wants to merge the two versions, feel free. Just let me know so *I* can use it!
In the screen shot, you can see two instances of it. The upper plot shows the angle between Low[3] and Low[0]. The lower plot shows the angle between SMA(50)[3] and SMA(50)[0].
I drew the vertical lines to show that the plot crosses zero, meaning a perfectly flat slope, a little later than where the SMA slope is visually flat. That's due to the period of the measurement being 3 bars. A 1 bar period shows the zero slope much closer to its real location, but you tend to get a much choppier line. Another trade-off. Still, the indicator can be useful for measuring extreme slopes or generally flat periods, which was my original intent.
I do want to mention that any negative value means slope is downward. Likewise any positive value means slope is upwards. So, even where the slope curve is rising, if it's still below zero, the slope you're measuring is descending, just not as steeply.
I hope this indicator is of some greater use to the community than V1.

You could use this indicator to trade in the direction of the trend after minor pull backs reversal. It could be used in strategies. It is variation of TTM trend indicator.
At the end of the day, I print out the days chart and file it away. I was manually writing the day of the week on the chart, to later see if there was correlation in the DOW price action.
So to make life easier I thought I might as well print this on the chart automatically as each day starts. So on the first tick of the day, it prints the DOW to the left of the first bar.
The drawing of the DOW is actually in two parts.
1. Is the calculation of the DOW and placement into a string.
2. The actual printing of the string using a function.called "printtext"
The PrintText function has input parameters for the Day,time, position, text, size, color AND printing of the text in either a horizontal or vertical format.
The printtext function could be used for a multiple of things ie vertical printing text directly above a bar ie "Inside Bar" or whatever.

Indicator: PnF
This is a set of Point and Figure Indicators that I developed with the anticipation of NT8 fixes of PnF. NOTE: These are coded for NT7 and will need tweaked for NT8.
I followed Jeremy du Plessis method for Point and Figure to the best of my ability. That said, there may be errors in the logic in some situations. Use at your own risk!!
Indicator List:
PnFCongestion - Heat-map of horizontal count showing congestion points.
PnFCount - Adds box counts above or bellow the XO bar.
PnFMaxMin - Shows breakout point, the price level the next XO will be drawn.
PnFXO - Simply tells you if you are in a X or O bar
PointAndFigureCandles - Draws real-time candles around the XO's
PnFTrend - Draws the 45 Degree trend lines
PnFPoles - Shows 50% retracement used for quick exits of long XO bar.
PnFHorizontalTarget - draws the Horizontal target for VU or W patterns
PnFVerticalTarget - draws the vertical target from important highs or lows
I hope you enjoy these indicators!
Cheers,
SodyTexas
Rev 2
Added:
PnFSignalsV2 - Basic lines showing your standard PnF breakout
PnFDistribution - Know bugs on the counts, but its still shows a lot. Shows a session distribution of PnF Boxes.
Major enhancements on the Horizontal and Vertical targets. Mainly added dataseries for the nearest target and anchor points. Anchor points are the point that voids the targets if not met.

Improvements comparing to out-of-box BB and KC indicators:
1) It is rewritten based on underlying functions, so that when you need to write strategy, you can call the function directly.
2) it gives you choice of moving average type. I only enable EMA and SMA, but you can add more with simple coding.
3) the mid line can be in two colors when it is up/down from last bar.
August 8th, 2017 10:07 AM moerfutures This is excellent, especially when looking for areas for overnight reversals when there is 200-500% or more orders at a
certain price point versus all other price points in the area. I have only used it on rithmic feed. Does anyone know if
it works on CQG with infinite levels?

There is a thread
February 16th, 2015 11:32 AM JohnSprowl Agree wholeheartedly with last writer; some discussion of intended use for each of these really good tools might be a ve
