Glad I found this community - first trade was around 2011 with Oanda as I recall - i did some cash and than start up a business - after 11 years I come back to trading and see other opportunities.

Glad to have found this site. I've been trading for 3.5 years and currently at a crossroads of sorts. I started with equities then quickly moved to options but have recently moved to futures.

Im at the point where I know I am lightyears ahead of where I started and have suffered a great deal to get here but Im still no trader...more of a gambler than anything and it took me way too long to realize that.

to continue, or take my losses as the cost of self discovery and go elsewhere, that is my dilemma.

I've been trading for 6 years. I became profitable last year in currencies. Recently, I've discovered futures prop firms, passed evaluations, and have funded accounts. I discovered this forum while searching for coding indicators and strategies in NinjaTrader for the prop firms. Currently, all my indicators and setups are on Tradingview in pinescript. I'm looking to transfer from Tradingview to NT.

I have had great moments trading stocks and futures and I’ve had bad moments trading stocks and futures…I once turned 2800 into 25K in a month and a half day trading stocks and the futures indices. I also won a stock trading contest beating 130 entrants and then I’ve gotten cocky and crazy and blew up my account. Right now I’m feeling the fear and I’m afraid to trade but another part of me wants to start trading again because I’ve made some great trades. I called Tesla’s low and knew where it’s support was by one point before all the stock splits when they were dumping the stock a couple of years ago…I called support at 176 and I believe it dropped to 177 and then it went to the moon with the five to one stock split and then the three to one stock split and all I did was watch it like an idiot afraid to do anything. Without the stock splits it went from 177 to the equivalent of 4000 a share today…I knew it was the best cult stock but I didn’t do anything… I could of made a ton of money instead I sit here depressed and lonely….I’ve done the same thing in the futures market not buying oil when it dropped to negative forty…That’s my story and I’m not looking for pity I just hate myself.
