I have been paper trading for the past two months as I build out trading models, train and test them, based on common strategies. Currently testing the Stock Agent and building the Options Agent.
Came here by googling for indicators, I am at the very beginning of my journey, almost 6 months into trading props trying to find balance between technic and mental side of the game. I come from an artistic career and 2 years as semi pro poker player. I started with orderflow, dom+tape only, and currently slowing switching to a more systematic approach to avoid emotionnal trading. I think I need to gain experience and confidence before going back to dom. Trading NQ only, asia close/london open or power hour of us. Don't know if I will come back regularly here, already in 150 s buzzing all day long, but big up for this forum and allvery valuable ressources here, I hope to find out more. Cheers, happy trading
Hi everyone, found this site after searching for information about a funded trading company. Since this week started with Ninjatrader for trading intraday on NQ (and maybe some other instruments).
Have a CMT and 30+ years of experience. Which doesn't mean anything if you start something new as buying selling within 5-15 minutes. You still need a complete new strategy.
Using Metastock since 1997, have Multicharts and Omnitrader. Work with IB TWS for 25+ years, worked with Tradestation and Vectorvest before. The last year I tried Wealth-lab.
Glad to be here! I stumbled upon this site while searching for daytrading strategy. Since last August, I started trading futures for prop firms. I haven't had any withdrawals yet, just been blowing through evals. I have monthly budget of 200 for buying evals after which I just paper trade for the rest of the month. I have only passed eval three times since I started trading futures in August 2023. Took 4 month break during summer of 2024 for travel. Back at trading since mid August. Hoping I get to enjoy a payout from a prop firm by next year...
