I´m newbie just gotten started with Ninja trader because i use a propfirm, so im here to learn and share all what i know about market, not much but can help someone.
I'm not a full-time trader, but I’ve been deep into market analysis and automation for the last few years. My background is in software development, and over time I became obsessed with solving one particular problem:
👉 How to monitor hundreds of coins and still catch clean, high-probability entries without getting overwhelmed.
I’ve built a personal AI-based assistant that scans 400+ crypto assets 24/7, finds setups like retests, breakouts, and reversals — and alerts me the moment something solid appears. It’s fully customizable, open-source, and not some black-box tool. I wanted something fast, flexible, and transparent — so I built it.
I joined this forum to connect with other traders, algo devs, and anyone who’s tired of chasing candles and missing good entries. If what I built can help others — I’d be glad to share the ideas behind it.
Looking forward to learning from you all and hopefully contributing something useful too.
I've browsed this site extensively over the last few months to see vendor reviews and experiences, and I figured it'd make sense to make an account to have access to other parts of the site.
I've been trading futures for a year and a half (primarily prop firms), and I'm ready to take it more seriously. I've definitely over-leveraged way too much in prop accounts. "It's only $50. I can just reset it if I fail." This mentality has held me back. I've gotten multiple payouts, but I am still at a loss overall.
I'd like to work on my mindset and utilize tools that work best with my workflow so I can finally reach profitability! I've been flip flopping between so many things because, really, anything can work. But it's time that I maintain some consistency.
Hey Traders,
I am just starting out, kind of. I tried stocks with different strategies (momentum, breakout, short, treadline, swing, scalpe, etc.) Nothing did well for me but I was smart enough to do most of it in simulation, most.... then I found someone swing trading futures. I research it and tried it. Specifically Bonds. That was were it was for me in TOS simulation. I don't think TOS simulation is quite like the open market but i was able to make gross profit $40k in less than a month. TOS won't let me do futures with them so I am now using NT. I am having a little bit of trouble with the platform but I think I just need to play with it. This trading is to help pay off debt faster and eventually to help retirement. I have a regular job that barely pays the bills.
I am learning and drinking from a fire house. Any advice for Scapling Bond futures, ZB, ZN or anything else I am all ears.
I have been trading futures for over 5 years and, while I have grown personally and in my knowledge over that time, I am still struggling to find consistency. However, I believe I am near a point of breakthough in my trading (it's not the first time I've thought that :/). I feel my trading strategies have a lot of potential, but I need to fix the operator (i.e. myself).
I naturally tend to want to go at things alone, but I have realized I need to be a part of a community where I can learn and be kept accountable, so I decided to join this group. I'm looking forward to our discussions together!
Hi everyone my name is Ed from Brooklyn New York I trade the emini futures market.I am glad I found this platform where learn and share my ideas.
I have an idea I would like to share and it goes like this
Every two or three day I get a range data and a point of reference number on the emini’s market.from the reference point, the price of the index future will go above and below the reference point till the circle of the range is completed and start all over again.
Today marks the start of my full time trading journey! I have left my job and going full time as a ES trader. I realize how important journaling is so starting this at the perfect time!
