I'm glad to have found futures.io (formerly BMT). Before this introduction I've read some quality threads and watched a few webinars here on futures.io (formerly BMT).
I'm a discretionary trader be default; I took a CS course over 10 years ago, and was never really good at it so I suck at programming to say the least.
I'm learning quite a bit and will try to contribute as much as I can.
Happy Trading!

I was researching trading websites today and came across this site. I normally don't register on many sites for a number of reasons, and I have to say this is probably the first time I have ever posted on any site. After reading several threads and surfing around I just had a good feeling about it. My impression about the various points of views, the sharing of ideas, willingness to help others....are great points. Hopefully, one day I can be in the place to be able to share some seasoned trading wisdom and return a little.
Myself, I'm from the USA but have lived and worked here in Germany for the last few years. I work in the IT Security industry. I used to trade the big SP500 contracts years ago, but after I lost more that I made and I got out of it. I have been trading stocks for the last year and ready to switch the futures market. Looking forward to getting involved....
Been listening in this forum for 230 days now. Id have to say if you really want to learn the ins and outs of futures trading you found it.Ive been thru the ringer like everybody else here. I dont trade fulltime but plan to in the next year. thank you for all the info you guys share
Hi everyone,
I started trading about 2 years ago. lost about 2k after going live in the ES futures market then rethought everything. Picked up trading pure price action and bars!!! Helped a ton. Now I use something called zones to trade with the price action bars. It's made a world of differences. I feel like I have learned a lot but the more I learn the more there is to know. I don't know that I will ever master the markets even though now I'm making seeing a lot of green! I'm interested in knowing more about trading psychology and trade management.
May the trend be your friend.
Hi fellow futures.io (formerly BMT) members! This is my first year in trading futures. I have traded equities with mixed results for past four years. Despite not being new to technical trading, I had a rude awakening trading futures. Major heartaches, blown accounts, visiting and paying for every trading room out there like a troll and a roller coaster of 8 months, I've started to feel confident about finding a style and methodology that will suit me.
This site is in a league of its own and I'd been a student of it for some time. Don't think I can contribute anything yet, so for now, I'll be a sponge, soaking in as much knowledge as I can from futures.io (formerly BMT).
