I understand what you are saying but i fail miserably at reading it like you have just described and i have looked at it quite a bit. For example, when you say a fast interval is prone to display lots of false signals then i could say the same thing about the footprint. When you say it allows you to enter before the laggers then i can accept that but what about putting a limit order 1 tick below the lowest peak or 1 tick above the highest peak at a valid area of supply/demand. I can't see a better way to get ahead of everybody else. Even the footprint user would envy your entry point

OK, this is on the boarder of being ridiculous. I clearly said that it comes to the individual trader's preference and that my preference is using the footprint. Using a 50 tick chart in Crude Oil is where I fail miserably at seeing any validity. That is so myopic, its crazy. But that's just my preference. If it works for you then, by all means continue to do so. Furthermore, the example you're showing is what I just got done saying is not an example of where using the footprint was able to get you in early. Please go back and re-read that piece.

Not at all. I was just stating my thoughts for a logistical perspective. What may work for one may not work for another. Ce n'est pas une probleme avec moi mon ami. Seulement une difference de pont de vue, n'est pas?
