I'm fairly certain that at some point in the past, one could set "sorting" of the posts(?), i.e. oldest post on top of first page versus oldest post on bottom of last page.
My threads are organized such that the newest post is on the top of the first page. But I can't locate the setting anywhere on the site anymore...
As mentioned, I have a feeling that this is what caused the issue, as the website link after being forwarded contained the page-number (18 in the example I posted) which obviously collides with where the post is - which is on page 1.
I guess that anyone who has their newest posts in a thread on the bottom of the last page would not be able to reproduce an error.
Again the newsletter failed this morning, I am tired of that. So, I am going to have to rewrite the entire newsletter module that I had a guy write for me many years ago. I am going to just take a completely different approach. His approach is good and is what makes sense, it is what I would do today from scratch.
But for some unknown reason that I cannot figure out (yet), it keeps failing mid-send on a random number of recipients, and aborts catastrophically meaning our newsletters are only being delivered to a tiny percentage of members.
This started a couple weeks back. I've troubleshooted every day and made adjustments, nothing has solved it.
So, I am going to rewrite it today and hopefully find a permanent alternative.
This affects only newsletters, regular site emails are completely unaffected.
Yes, it seems to have happened again last night. Damn it was stable forever and this is related to the newsletter issue, something is aborting connections and I haven't narrowed it down.
The Investor/RT, MetaTrader, and IB TWS subforums under Platforms has been removed, and threads moved to the main Platforms section. This is due to lack of activity to justify the existence of a dedicated subforum.
