Some of the big Wall street banks wrote a joint letter
they are afraid of the volatility and that casualties may be caused if futures trade on BTC
and they also express their concerns on the stability of the current BTC infrastructures
several people tried to sell BTC today and couldn't.. by the time they could the price dropped
10, 15, 20% ... imagine what that means in futures...
Will be interesting to see...

There are banks that have FCM divisions. Not all FCMs owned by the banks.
Banks could be exchange members, you can not say conclusively they are shareholders.
