Hi Kiks,
I was wondering what is this indicator called and how much they are selling it for?
How is working for you so far?

Thank you

KhalidY

I am using an indicator I bought from the metatrader 5 website. It runs pretty well. It does range bars, tick charts, orderflow, volume imbalance footprint, volume profile.

I was able to duplicate the data on my own metatrader 5 robot program. It serves as my visual proof that my program is calculating the orderflow correctly.

Unlike other indicators, it is not API-enabled. It is not callable inside your own metatrader program.

regards,
Kiks

Here is the link to the indicator. It is called YuClusters for Metatrader 5.

https://www.mql5.com/en/market/product/2835

The latest version has more features. The programmer added a variable VWAP and Moving Average indicators.
It is a great tool for Metatrader traders using orderflow and volume imbalance footprint. I like it a lot.

My chart is devoid of any indicators except this one. That is on my desktop.

But on my trading desktop which is colocated in Chicago, I totally do not use any indicators. The reason is that I do not want indicators eating up my cpu cycles. All I have is my metatrader robot doing all the calculations.

Thanks for replying Kiks.
So this one works with Forex? If so where does it get the data from since there is no central exchange in Forex? I looked at the source page but it does not mention it anywhere.
If it gets data from the broker then I guess the I should trade with a major broker like ICMarkets.
Do you know if the features are available for MT4 as well?

I trade ES on metatrader 5 with broker AMP Futures/CME and datafeed CQG.

If you want to see the features of the MT4 version, there is a free demo.
What I have is the MT5 version. I do not know the features of the MT4 version.

So what is your criteria to enter a trade? Do you look at the volume plus the signals?

Im researching the step from Forex to Futures but in the meantime I saw that my broker ICmarkets offers some Futures on MT5 with depth of market, dont ask me what kind of data feed, they told me they receive that from their liquidity providers. I figured I can start practicing some while I'll do my research. So my question is are there any decent Order flow indicators for MT5 available yet and in particular footprint charts

cheers,

Giacomo

Hey,

Are you still using IC Markets? I'm thinking of signing up to them.

Hey man. Uhm I have made the transition to futures but using it still for some swing trading. It's a good, reliable broker in my opinion. Dnt think of using orderflow of any kind on forex though if that was your reason. Ive also tried LMAX data to see the depth of market but it was useless.
