I always thought that taking a 5mg gummy before bed gave me great sleep.
A few years ago I started wearing a Whoop fitness tracker. The hard data from the Whoop told me otherwise. Alcohol and cannabis have a big negative impact on sleep...which leads to a negative impact on performance.
Clean eating and living during the week. At most a glass of wine with dinner but that is few and far between. I'm not sure if there's a correlation, but my trading performance has improved greatly once I cleaned up my act with food and intoxicating substances. Trading professionally is not easy. Treat it like you are playing a professional sport and have a match every day of the week.
I may or may not microdose mushrooms three days a week...
