@SMCJB, thank you for the very insightful post. I use TWS on Interactive Brokers. How do I find which exchange listed spreads are available? Are there separate symbols for these?

There are no specific symbols.

For intra-commodity spreads there is the spread trades.

For some (not many) inter-commodity spreads (eg. RB-HO) you can click the commodity and will find the spreads among the options.
