I am new to Sierra (1 week) and after having posted a legit question on SC Forum I was dragged through mud, broken glass, humiliated in public and hung upon a tree - even though I was right .
I love Sierra and honestly there is no other alternative when you find all the hidden treasures so I guess we have to continue be submissive and and "silence" or else the sword comes.....
It is a very good platform, and at this point I would not use anything else that I am familiar with. There are other good ones, and there may be others that address specialized needs, but it works very well for me.
They get very touchy about some things, though.
I have read most of the parts of the web site that pertain to things I am interested in, and in particular a huge amount of material on data feeds and trade services (since I have been concerned about their plans to stop supporting some of them), as well as individual brokerages they have had issues with, and also previous posts in their support forum. A search of the support forum often pays off with an answer.
It pays to do some research first to see if the issue you have has been covered already, and it usually has.
I have no idea why they are so quick to blow up at their users. It seems like a profit-limiting move to me, but it's their business and they don't have to do things any way except how they want to.
But the platform is very solid and I like it more than well enough.
Basically, you gotta be tough to use Sierra Chart. It's like a point of pride almost.

But tbh I am not surprised. Rithmic is VERY problematic.
See, now I just had issues with them yesterday. I submitted my files and screenshot but rithmic refused to even look at them, and said to contact e2t for it.
I suspect it is rithmic issue (platform or router related). Sierra told me that before when had problem with orders...
