I’m an 80-year-old Senior on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada
hoping to augment our pensions with some extra income through trading if
I can. I can afford to begin trading without fear of bankrupting us and would
start with the Micro E-mini offering from the CME.
I’ve been studying day trading of the S&P 500 with the OpenTrader Portal of
Ziad Masri and Awais Bokhari for quite some time now and am keen to start
with an active account but am having some problems finding a broker for my
region of Canada; I would like to use a broker with a Canadian presence if it
is possible; perhaps Interactive Brokers would be a reasonable choice?
Any input, advice and assistance from Canadian members nearby who are actively
trading with a reputable broker would be greatly appreciated; I would like to use Ninja Trader 8.0 if that is also possible as it would tie in very nicely with what
OpenTrader offers in the way of active daily support for their students.
Thanks for your time and consideration Mike et al…….
Hi @sandgate5167 - I have copied your question in the help thread in the hope it will generate some answers from a fellow Canadian trader who may be able to help.
Basically 5 RSI and 14 RSI Divergence. Instead of a line, I need the indicator to print columns, similar to picture.
@ColoradoCliff was a great help with converting to TOS. I still need a copy for NT8. Thanks in advance for your time and support!
Basically, the purpose of this "ask any question" thread is to help out members who aren't familiar with the forum by creating new threads for their questions in the appropriate sections of the forum, so that they can be seen and perhaps responded to by others who have an interest in their topic. After that, the new threads are the best locations for more discussion on their questions.
Both your TOS and your NT8 questions have already had new threads created for them. At this point, the best place for continuing discussion is in those threads.
If you wish to call attention to the unfilled NT request, you can click on the NT8 box in this post and make another post in that thread:
I have made a post just now in the NT thread to see if it will attract some additional interest from an NT programmer. Please keep any future posts regarding this request in that thread, to keep things on-topic.
Thanks.
Bob.

This is an amazingly large and open-ended question. For example, I just typed the words "order flow" in the Search box (found at the top of each page), and got 150 threads -- and these are only threads that have those words in their title. I have no idea how many separate individual posts there are that discuss order flow. And then there would be the question of what other methods people use to trade, and also of what would be meant by "technical analysis", which includes many non-order flow methods.
I don't want to over-complicate things, but this is a broad topic.
What we do in this "ask any question" thread is take questions from people who may be new to the forum or may not be sure where and how to post a question, and we generally create a new thread for their topic, so that members who have an interest can respond.
I have created a new thread for your question, which you can access by clicking the box here:
Hi All,
Does anyone know any better way than orderflow technical analysis in financial markets ?
Thank you kindly,
Traderr
Although it is a broad topic, you may find some views given in response to it that can be helpful to you in finding your own solution, or where to look next.
Good luck in your journey.
Bob.

@Kharmaz, please stop asking this question in this thread, where it will not be read by anyone who can help you. When you click on "ask any question" you simply show up here again.
Follow the advice I tried to give you and go to the thread that I created for the NT8 part of the question, and ask for help there.
I will go there now also and make a post asking for someone to volunteer to help.
But please use that thread, not this one.
Here is the link again. Just click there and go to the thread:
