People have different definitions of scalping, assuming you mean targeting a few ticks only, why are you trading such a small account using CFDs instead of a larger account using futures?
I haven't traded CFDs, but have tried spreadbetting (I live in the UK), which I guess is similar, a decentralised exchange so the broker makes the price, no DOM so very hard to quickly trade on the favourable side of the spread ie. scalping, and lastly the ES price will be close, but not exactly the same as the CFD which again could be a problem if doing small scalps.
So out of curiosity, what is your typical profit/loss in ticks, small scalps or "big scalps"?
Anyway, good luck with your challenge.

my scalping is oriented on 5 point of SP (cfd), for the futures that means 20 ticks.
My trade often will be in breakeven...I use very tight stop to preserve my balance.
We only see and control our stop and my focus is there.

Five points is a good size target.
I'll read your journal with interest, and as I said, and you said; good luck to you.

You do not win as a trader, you just get to play again the next day. If that game doesn’t appeal to you then you should not trade. Gary Norden

Hi community,

this is the situation after 4 days. We are at the beginning.

The important thing is to respect our strategy without exit from schemas.
Today I tried to trade EURUSD and GBPUSD making refer to the futures currency 6E(eurusd) and 6B(gbpusd) but the liquidity is not the same compare to ES. The result has been no good but the trasparency is essential to grow together.
From next monday I will resume with SP to achive the goal of 6% to get the fee refund of subscription.

Remember: more liquidity less manipulation

This i sthe first step!!

it's important to see the time execution, very low time execution and my last trade only 41 second.

Very difficult but winning day

Stay tuned

Hi tradingest

I'm not seeing any commissions on your chart. Is that correct?

Just qualified for $25k Aspire account with Leeloo Trading. So excited! Will be trading evenings and early morning before my day job, at least to the point where I can make more from trading than my day job. Currently using a Moving Average crossover with pullback and confirmation before entry, or double top/double bottom for the best R/R. Using Rithmic data on Rithmic Pro platform. I know its clunky, but I like the idea of using same company for trading platform and data feed. Also use Tradingview for charting.

Hi @Mik618,

It's great that you're starting out with this account and this trading journey, but you've stepped into someone else's trading journal.

This thread was established by @tradingest to record his trades and his progress. If you want to do the same for your trading, that is both completely fine and is strongly encouraged, because the accountability it gives a trader can be very helpful to them, and the experiences he has can be very helpful to other traders as well.

So please feel free to establish your own trade journal and discuss your trading there. But this thread is not really the right place for it.

Good luck in your trading.

Bob.
