I'm brand new to this forum and to Ninjatrader. Unfortunately I can't find the indicator I'm looking for. I am using Ninjatrader 8 and the HeikenAshi8 indicator to create the HA bars. Is there an indicator that subtracts the HAOpen from the HAClose on each bar? I would like to know the length of the body of each bar/candle, and whether they're getting longer or shorter.
Thanks very much,
Cliff

Thanks, but that's not what I'm looking for. That is an excellent indicator, and it is the one I use. What I'm trying to find is the length of the candle - HAClose minus the HAOpen. I believe increasing candle lengths indicate a strengthening trend and decreasing lengths indicate a weakening one. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.

That's close to what I'm looking for, but all the values seem to be positive. If I subtract the HAOpen from the HAClose I should get positive values in an uptrend and negative values in a downtrend. Can that be done? Thanks very much for the effort.

As a humble gift, here's a quote from the Woody Allen Notebooks.
