Hello guys and girls,

I live in Canada, however since I am a citizen of an eligible country, I was able to open my account at Ninja Trader without any major problems.

My question is: what would be the easiest way to transfer funds to my Ninja account from Canada?

Should I open a US bank account (in person)? Or would an account with a bank that operates in both countries be the best option? (HSBC, TD, etc...)

Thank you all!

Someone may know the answer from having personal experience sending funds from Canada, but why not ask Ninja? They will know what they accept.

Bob.

Hi. Thank you for your reply.

I have already contacted them, but they said they cannot help me as they do not operate in Canada.

It's a wire transfer done directly to your account in US.

It's very easy. You will need all the information from you broker to do a wire transfer. Just ask them, then print that page, take it to your bank and ask them to send a transfer to your own account in US.

Triple check all the information being sent out to, e.g. account number, name, bank name, bank address, etc.

Once the funds are gone, you should see them the next business day, usually.
