Trades from today the 30th of January:

1 loss and 3 wins
Long
NQ 21602 > 21578,75
ES 6079,50 > 6083,25
NQ 21565,75 > 21591,50

Short
NQ 21688,25 > 21650,75

I missed 3 trades today. Two times NQ and one time ES. All three would be winning trades.

PS: I didnt post any trades in the past week, because I was quite busy at work.

If you want to trade foot print you have to see foot print on chart and get as much as possible important information from it . TDU for NT8 is the best one

Thanks.

Hey,

Sorry, but I'll only be posting my current trades for the moment. I do not want to reveal all of my trading strategy components.

Thank you for understanding.

I use footprints a lot, but only on 5 and 15 min timebases. I don't like 1 min FP, it moves across my screen to quickly to absorb.... (and I only scalp)
More for a longer term picture of where there is liquidity. I like to see where Buyers absorb, and then change to buying at Market, effectively a delta change.

On my 5min FP, I use 4 tick compression, on the 15min, I use 8 tick compression to highlight the liquidity (HV) nodes.

As you can see I use a 1min chart to show volume and Delta, its clearer and quicker to me.

I generally trade ES/NQ around the London Open, rarely venturing into RTH... NQ can provide some very nice 'indications' using the 5min/4tick setup. I always watch what ES is doing at the same time. One may be at structure and react, dragging the other...

08 Jan Footprint and 1 min

08 Jan 5 min chart

Hey ragic,

I have an additional question. When looking for signals, do you use minis and execute the micro? I've heard that many traders who use Orderflow use this method.

Thanks in advance

I only trade MES or MNQ for real trades.. I may use ES if using SIM, (bigger numbers if I win... good for the ego...)

This may sound strange but in RTH I watch and assess on ES. In ETH, after London Open, I watch MES because the volume is greater than ES at that time of day... I tend to think the real big players are not present in ETH, where they are in RTH
