I was watching the ES just now and all of a sudden it took off to the races up. moved 300 pts in a matter of a 6 minutes. I found out shortly after the fact that Trump put a 9 day hold on tariffs except for China. Obviously a bunch of people found out before I did as the market reflected that. So I ask... where are they getting this information from and where can we peons find it? A subscription service?
I use X.com but even if you pay for a newsfeed you will miss a lot of moves. (It is best to trade the market, not the news)
FYI: if you listened to Trump earlier today, he said 'buy the market'. Obviously he knew this was going to be announced but...
(That was on Newsweek:
"President Donald Trump urged Americans and investors to "be cool" on Wednesday morning, adding that "this is a great time to buy,") A few minutes later, the 90 day pause in terriffs for 75 countries was announced and the market rose dramtically.

I have the lifetime live version but the free version is only delayed by 10 seconds and is quite good (ironically, for the first time I've seen in years they had issues today, but otherwise a very reliable service).
I use the TradeXchange they are good bang for the buck its like 30 bucks a month. They have a squawk also.
I also got Benzinga for some news too but its pricey and a tad hard to use. I think a combo of X.com news feeds and TradeXchange could work and be cheap
