If I use an indicator that doesn't have a licensing package, is there a way to tell if my trade data is sent to anyone other than the broker?

Also, if I do have one with a licensing package, does trade information typically get sent to the designer when verifying license?

Can you see the code of the indicator? if not like it's in a DLL then you have no idea, I guess you can use a port sniffer to see if anything is being transmitted. To be honest I don't anyone would care what trading data you might send?

I can say this won't be typical at all, usually a unique identifier of your pc (machine id) which is composed by the hardware and looks something like this CFDEB97D416D3FFF8C9F5934BAFBBD7R, anything more would be very dodgy and could be detected by a packet sniffer like wireshark if you are technically inclined.
