Hi Everyone,
I've been trading for about 15 yrs on and off. I've had varying degrees of success and have traded full time and currently spend a couple hours a day.
In the beginning I tried everything, all types of indicators, trading rooms, trading classes, systems, you name it. Lost a ton of money, even tried to do the opposite and still lost money. I had my eureka moment about 5 or so years ago. Trading is about you, your style, what makes sense to you, your mental stigma, period.
For me it was pivots, simple moving averages , the 20 on the 5 and the 30 min. for direction and trade size and the 3/5 cross over for entry, and the prof trader indicator for confirmation, I have the momentum indicator for divergence around pivot points, but its hit or miss if I actually look at it. I've trade pretty much everything, but I trade mostly the NQ
