On Dukascopy website you can download historical data from all currencies cross.
When i download it i have an .csv file and i choose to take for exemple a 5 minute time frame for one month.
I try to import it in multicharts and i get an error of "negative time or date increment".
I would like to know if someone already succed in importing historical data in multicharts.
Many thanks for your informations,
ED
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Yes, but you'll have to convert the data since, if I recall correctly, Dukascopy's files included both the bid and the ask data. For importing into MultiCharts, these need to be split into two files (one for bid, another for ask).
Thanks for your quick answer i just saw it now. I download the excel .csv file just with the bid price
Maybe i'm doing something wrong but i follow good tutorial and still failed.
I attached this file to that post if maybe you find something wrong on it.
I download tickstory and the data importation is going well. My only problem now is that when i would like to display the graph, i have a bad representation of the data. Here you can see attached what's happend.
I tried several time to re-import and change setting but still not find a solution. Maybe someone here already have this problem.
By the way i try with 30 minutes data
this what i have below. And when i open a new chart windows in multichart i setup the input like quotemanager, i still don't know what's going wrong do you have multichart to test it ?
