Hey there fellow traders,
I'm looking for a similar indicator like "VDubus Channel": Strategies - Vdubus Channel
It is the blue / white enveloping channel around the bars.
Or anyone has an idea how to calculate it so I can make an own indicator?
Thank you!

I found another version with some source code provided: https://www.tradingview.com/script/j6Fjn9YN-Vdub-Renko-Sniper-VX1-v1/
Don't know if this is the same, but pretty much looks like it. Will check it out.

The second one appears to be a basic Donchian Channel with colors. The first one is a moving average with bands set a certain distance away.
Very simple stuff. You should have no trouble finding it.
Using it profitably... That part is on you..

You would know this as a keltner channel.
It is just an sma with bands that are a static defined distance offset from an SMA.
Eg. 55 sma with a band above and below 1.5 points away if you were trading ES.

Thank you both for the hints guys.
It really looks like Keltner channel, but then Vdub channel is way more smooth and less choppy or "noisy". I played around with the settings of Keltner channel, I get close but not near the clarity and smoothness of the Vdub. So there must be more "magic" behind it.

Not magical at all. The thing that makes it smoother is the following:
-He uses renko bars
-He is using a very long time parameter on the moving average
-It may be smoothed moving average, weighted, exponential etc.
Hope this helps

Ok, after some testing with Market Replay, it isn't really usefull for my intentions.
Problem is that the channel bends during the price action , so what might looks like a great short signal turns out to be nothing some bars later, because the channel bent over.
So on goes the search ...
