I did that. Will fire up the stick on my laptop tomorrow and see if my charts come up the way I have saved 'em.

This is easier than saving the entire Ninjatrader to a stick (6+MB's).
Usually I have to 'cut' Ninjatrader7 from my documents (but not the 'backup') and then have to 'paste' it into the stick memory; which takes HOURS, btw.

p.s. It only took up a fraction of the stick's memory doing it this way (workspaces, indicator, chart, chart object, MarketAnalyzer, Strategy, Templates)
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Run 'backup' with no historical tick data and save it on my desktop--then to my usb stick.
Then on my laptop I plug in the usb stick and run 'restore' and pick the backup off of my usb stick.
Worked great. Took me several tries and a phone call with ninjatrader to get past the issues I had with saving too much info to my usb stick and NOT saving 1st to my desktop and then transferring to the stick.
This is a quick easy way for me to do this now without using a cloud or external hard drive.
Thanks for all the tips in here--I had tried many of them and am glad I got this taken care of after about 23 days of frustration.
