MotiveWave

Hoping to resuscitate this thread... :idea: As a 40+ year IT professional, I've spent a considerable amount of time (past 18+ years) trying to mesh my passions for both trading and programming, initially as a hobbyist and now full-time. Big Mike IMO, Sierra vastly undercharges for what you receive. I've demoed and own (gave them serious tries, not just a few days) NT8, MultiCharts, MotiveWave, and various CQG offerings- and I still cannot find a package as complete/extensible/configurable/customizable as Sierra. The platform is rock solid, fast, and their support gets things done fast without fluff.

Don't know why, although MotiveWave is the best charting tool I have found to date, NexusFi does have 'as of yet' a sub-forum for MotiveWave users. I just purchased a lifetime license of Pro version after extensive deep-dives in to Sierra Chart, Ninjatrader and TOS. I am looking to exchange MotiveWave tips-and-techniques. My current focus is using MW in the context of Day-Trading equities. I am currently connecting to IQFeed and TD Ameritrade.
