So my story is basically this. I worked information technology at one of the big banks for six years. I served many roles there including working on firmwide risk control systems, execution time measurement, tools for QA testing, and general C# application development. During this time I watched the markets religiously, but firm rules prevented me from trading my own account. If I wanted to trade I basically had to track it myself in Excel. So I've basically been lurking on the forum for years waiting for the day when I'd be able to trade on my own. Now that I am working in a different industry I have begun to pursue my lifelong dream of trading futures.
I've been trading since about October using Jigsaw and methods from the NoBSDayTrading course. I trade the first two hours of the bond session (ZB) before I go to work in the morning using a TopStepTrader combine account. Here is a picture of my current trading workspace. I have a lot on my screen, but much of it is just testing my programming work.
Since this is a combine account I'll try to be very transparent with my trades. I'll admit up front that I am not consistently profitable right now. I'm about 50/50 really, but I'm told that's a good start.
Most of my posts will just be my daily hypothesis with levels, and what the order flow looked like at those locations. I'll also post videos if I have the time to upload the recordings. At some point I will also be creating a separate journal for my programming work.
