I am working on a TS which seems to work well with all instruments but is particularly fit for FDAX (commissions and slippage included). I need more consistent Tick data for FDAX to check the validity of my thoughts (so far I have only Sept-Dec 2010) . The system will be released as soon as I feel more confortable with the backtest results, somebody from futures.io (formerly BMT) has already viewed the TS but currently is not working with Tick data.
Check the main tick data thread in Elite, I am pretty sure there are years of data for FDAX but not 100% and am on my phone so can't double check right now.
I keep getting requests for people to share their GomRecorder data. A few threads have been started on the subject but not many are following thru it would seem.
I am collecting data from IQFeed via QCollector. All data contains bid/ask and is tick …
The DAX data goes back untill half 2014 and that is not enough. I need data untill at least 2008. So every year before 2015 is welcome.
I found this old post searching for tick data of the FDax for on eyear back... (maybe 2)....
Is there any way I can find those tick data for an Year back for free?
I'm still using the multichart trial and everywhere on the web hundreds of dollars are required...
I need to run my first strategies (very simple, I'm still learning) and I need tick by tick data.... Any suggestion for free resources?
