I've been working on a new feature for the site - Quizzes.
Basically the idea is to use it as an educational tool. I plan to allow anyone to create quizzes, and of course everyone can answer each others quiz.
I plan to do some educational stuff where the question is based on a chart shown to the member, and the member has to identify an area or choose the correct "decision" based on the information provided.
But I'd also like a large number of general purpose questions/answers, and to that end - I need your help! Please reply and submit to me some good questions+answers for use in our quizzes.
Here are just a handful to get you thinking:
What is the tick value of the E-mini SP500 instrument
What is the difference between a tick bar and a volume bar
etc, etc, etc. I'd like to come up with 100+ questions before I open it up to the public. There will be multiple quizzes, it won't just be one long one.
I was thinking of finding a Series x,x,x study guide and looking at some of the questions there for ideas, if anyone has one...
Hmm. I thought this was a fun and creative idea, and something that if done properly could actually help people. Am I wrong? Am I wasting my time on this? Or is it that I've not done a good job explaining it so far and you guys are having a hard time visualizing?
I think it's a great idea...A little surprised no one else has chimed in yet. I'll start off with a couple.
What's a cash and carry trade ?..... A strategy that involves the simultaneous trading of two similar securities in order to recognize an arbitrage profit. Also known as "basis trading" or "buying the basis."
How many tpyes of dojis are there ?... grave stone, dragonfly, long legged and common doji
What is pyramiding ?...A method of increasing a position size by using unrealized profits from succesful trades to increase margin.
What is a Quant ?....basically a wallstreet "geek" trader or financial engineer who uses brain-twisting math and superpowered computers to extract money from the markets
