The 'checklist': I've been working on rolling out a semi-automated swing trading system (or more accurately, series of aggregated systems). It's been live for the past week and a half, and has been out-of-sample re: parameters since February. More specifics in later posts.
What's frustrating is that I'm flat over that time, because I pulled a handful of trades due to fear over macro issues (China, FOMC notes) and more atavistic fears (holding overnight). That cost me gains, and I would've connected on almost each and every pulled punch. When my analysis is right, which it usually is (because the market behaviors I'm trading on demonstrate consistent follow through over the years), I've got to follow through myself with action.
