Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I have recently started using this amazing indicator and it has helped me from being a long term break even trader into profitable trader, thank you for that.
I have one request, would it be possible to make this indicator draw (swing lines or plot values) only for the data that is visible on the screen? It will be very useful when looking at historical data and doing manual backtesting.
Hello folks,
I was trying to use the strategy wizard to see if I could get the oscillator to be used in a strategy.
If volume > 2000 enter long. I know from reading the posts that this thing repaints but I just wanted to see how it
reacted when it did.
Any idea why this doesn't work? I used the plot VHigh as I can change the color on this so I figured I had the
correct plot when using swing type standard.
Ok, Mike you've got me I thought it's easy, but I have no idea how to program. If I knew probably it would be already on attached to my post If anyone want help to make it I would be more then pleased to help in that with all my wisdom about those formations.
I am trying to get to a basic setup with this fabulous indicator (Non pro version) that just shows me dots and swing length for each swing.
However, I find with both the default settings and any change to those settings I make that whilst it plots dots for each swing, it does not print the length of each swing.
I've attached a picture to show what I mean.
Can anyone please help this newbie explain what I'm doing wrong.
PS I should explain I'm a Multicharts user just using Ninja for Jigsaw's tools
Might try changing: "Visualize Swings" > 01. Dots_ZigZag (or ZigZagVolume ) then make the zig zag legs transparent if you do not want to see them. Or, maybe going to the Pro version would make a difference.
no, those little typos were already in previous version. not really a big deal. it's only the display name anyway. if you check the description at the bottom, everything is correct.
but in case it's really bothering you that bad, you could …
I was simply unaware that the default text color for LL LH was black, which made them invisible on my black background chart
