strong up / down trend is when EITHER of the 3 conditions is filled.
cond 1 :macd (34,89) above 0 and is higher than previous value....
cond2 : e89 is below accl lower band...
cond3 : close > accl band high
weak uptrend is when
e89 is inside bb20,2 and e89 is inside accl band and e34 is inside bb20,2 and e34 is inside accl band
and
macd(34,89 ) is above 0 and lower than that its previous values.(for weak uptrend)
pure sideways is when
bb20,3 inside accl band
and
macd(34,89 ) is lower than that its previous values.
and
e89 inside BB20,2 and e89 is inside accl band
preferred entry zone are : irrespective of which phase we are
e34 ema when e34 is black (white background)
bb20,2 when e34 is white (white background)
pure sideways is when
bb20,3 inside accl band
and
macd(34,89 ) is lower than that its previous values.
and
e89 inside BB20,2 and e89 is inside accl band
MACD (34,89) above 0
means ema34 is above ema89
macd(34,89) value is greater than its previous value means the gap between e34 and e89 is increasing, hence highly bullish scenario, we wont look for shorts.
bb20,3 inside accl band :: means the 95% of trading range (BB20,3) price is not showing acceleration in any direction.
and
e89 inside BB20,2 and e89 is inside accl band
Not sure? Here is a big TF overview of a few locations over the past week or so of trading days. Highlighted the areas where ADX is less than 20(verical lines with red horizontal in between).
YOu don't think the BB being inside the accl is sufficient?
Here is a look at the chart with the conditions you describe. The dots are just on the chart while the various trends are sorted out as TEMPORARY visual aids to show what the conditions are telling us. You can see that there is overlap between some of the conditions.
