Swing Ray V2 5 *

Note: improvement on the v1 is that the ray lines colors are kept in memory of NT so no more transparent lines when you boot NT.

Quoting
This is a modification of the Swings indicator in NT7. The standard indicator does not extend the lines all the way to the right while this one does.

No one else had written this, so this is my attempt.

This indicator places ray lines at the swing highs and lows and removes them once the lines are violated. If you wish to show the violated swing points, there is an option to replace the rays with short lines.

There is also an option to sound an audio alert when each price line is broken.

This indicator uses some enhancements in NT7 to read the data directly from the drawn objects which are not supported in NT6.5.

What a brilliant but simple indicator! I hate congested charts and here I can have only the info I need- and forget the past! as price draws toward a dotted line I realise there is potential support /resistance ind so can modify my trading and then when the information is no longer necessary- it disappears Beaut!

Real nice, thanks! One queastion though: is there a reason why the 'strength' min value is 2, not 1? In my trading I use the original Swing indicator for the first swing hi/lo breakout, and would find the strenght=1 highly useful

i believe that the normal swing indicator also has a min strength of 2.
the low and high of the last 2 bars will be painted.

if this isn't correct, i don't know the awnser i only have posted it and not coded it.

Well, I actively use std NT7 Swing indicator with Strength=1. It marks every bar reversal points.

Great Indicator. What I was looking for was similar to this but not quite the same.
Instead of the lines coming from the highs of the last two or three candles but comeing from the (highest close(or open)) of the last two or three candles. The same would be true of the lows. Instead of the lowest low of the past two or three candles, it would read the lowest close or open of the last three candles.

In other words it would read the highest high of the "bodies" of the candles instead of the wicks and vice versa the lowest low of the bodies of the last two or three candles, and then draw a line from that point.

Would that be possible?

Thanks, Reese
