I've had that issue with chart types before...the only solution I found was to delete several chart types (on post 8 you've a number of imported chart types - if you don't actually use half of them, just delete & then your new chart type should be displayed).
BetterBrickStyle or SBSrenkochart use the same "custom style"... redratsal has give the solution:
- open the style files, look for the used custom numbers and use a "free" for the VolumeCandles
- or make try and error and count custom 1,2,3,... (sequence: change, compile, change, compile,... restart only after compile without errors)
remember: NT7 chart types (bar types) is NOT equal/comperable with ChartSTYLES !!!
NT7 use different custom/final type classes. With install many packages its can never give duplicate installs, the last package with try a used type can not be installed. If remove this, then compile is possible.
=> before install any addon, please check the current state off all tools, ONLY if you can compile with F5 without errors, then begin the install the new addon
Hi, I uploaded it fine, but it has replaced my normal candlestick bar type...Is there any way to get around this? I have to delete this type to get the regular candlesticks back...pretty strange...any ideas?
Thank you so very much. That fixes it. One problem that remains is that all of my "show-mes" on the chart change size in relation to the settings for the volume candles.
I had also issues with CandleVol. Redratsal was so kind and modified a version which uses a own ChartStyleType.Final3. Thank @redratsal ( for this. I renamed his file to CandleVolStyle2 and attache it.
It will work now besides the regular candlesticks …
