phyzfer, yes I still have plans for it. Stay tuned...
TJ, I've never used the wizard, but I doubt any changes were made to it from 6.5 to 7, and MTF would definitely be something the wizard is unable to handle.
Let me state up front that NinjaTraders Official policy is to not use NT7 for live trading:
I have used it for live trading & it seems I am not the only one. No problems, but keep your broker's trade desk phone number ready to go just in case.
The difference between static and dynamic is that one keeps the last price centered. For some instruments you can not use one of them for futures trading. I forget the specifics (licensing issue???), maybe someone else can answer that, but I loaded both and saved workspaces with the one that did not give an error, so it was experimentally determined well over a month ago and I have not given it much thought since.

NT7 public beta is beta 13, I personally would recommend against using it in live trading. I make that recommendation because I am using it in live trading, for the DOM only -- not a single chart or indicator -- and it crashes on me daily.
As for the DOM, the Static DOM is the way to go for sure. Before I used the static dom I would accidentally enter the market at the wrong price when I was trying to place limit orders, etc, because the whole ladder was moving and I didn't want to pause it each time. With static dom, it doesn't move. You have to pay the royalty licensing fee, it is 15 cents a trade or something like that, you buy it in bulk direct from NT up front.
Thanks Big Mike for the really great forum and website. I've been using MT4 with some fx brokers for the last year or so but making a move to Ninja and the CME. I really like what NT7 looks like from the demonstration videos I've been watching. We are now into May, is the new release gaining stability, enough to warrant live trading in your opinion?
