I've been working wih this Linear Regression Reversal Indicator for a couple years and it appears to be providing reasonable signals when observing price moves in relation to the ADXVMA_Alerts or the "White Dot Alerts" mentioned in other threads on the futures.io (formerly BMT) forum. Again, thanks to BigMike, Sharky and TZACHI for the observations and a great place to learn and share indicators and styles.
This indicator was discussed in an article by Barbara Star, PhD. The article I had seen was in TASC (Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities).
There may be other on-line articles if you do a google search, but here is a quick link to one provided by vast.
Well, since I had a request to put arrows on the chart instead of on the lower panels, i went ahead and made a few adjustments along with sound and text.
Hope you like it.
Thing I like is also learning about coding and trading...
If you turn on text, just be aware that you may get a different color signal during countertrends...
The usual disclaimers apply...

p.s. The lower panel is the previous version. This version only draws the objects on the price panel with no line plots.
How do you use it for your trading? Just taking all the signals would result in a lot of losing trades (most of them on the chart). Are you filtering the losing trades out some how?
Look how they perform with some filters, only take longs when everything is blue and shorts when everything is red. I know you are going to ask what indicators I have on my chart, I don't know how to post a screen shot of that. If anyone can tell me how to post that I will do that also.
Export all the indicators on your chart into a single zip file (file menu then import/export) and then save a template from your chart (right click on chart). Upload both and we should be able to get the same chart as you.
