quickly dragging and dropping simple text onto a chart in realtime
( This is somewhat applicable to this forum, I hope.)
With a chart in use at times it is useful to place a comment on the chart very quickly.
Some use just: HH or HL and a few other variations of what I think of as comments.
It doesn't seem possible to have a chart open, and still leave about an inch of
space on the left to show the Desktop screen, let's say, and just drag and drop
a rtf document onto the chart. I've tried with WordPad anyway.
Is there some way I've missed to drag and drop text from the Desktop screen,
or better yet from the Taskbar to a chart?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
If so, I was hoping for something that took 3 seconds or less.
I can't program worth anything. I did post at the NT forum just
now, maybe there's an idea out there somewhere. I thought
this would have an easy answer.
yep - thats what i mean.
i dont know what do you want to drag around -- the more & clearer you tell us the better the tips will be ...
for my understanding it was ready text-snipets you want to drag-drop around without much typing -
so prepare your wished texts in an open wordpad-file or so and from there its 3 seconds to the textbox in the chart when action isneeded
copy text - 1sec - press F12 - 1 sec - paste stuff in the + hit ok - 3 sec
For a start it would be like in BigMike's video. Just simple stuff. See attachment.
I think I know what you're saying. (Should have said <2 seconds hee hee).
I'll see what support says at NT.
