Can I know how many of you place your order directly on the chart instead of using the DOM? Personally I prefer to use that as I can gauge the S/R better.
Beside ninja does other platforms eg x_trader offer this feature?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I had a tendency to overtrade with the DOM early on and stopped using it, but then started using the IB DOM again due to incompatibilities with NT6.5 and CL, but now don't use it any more with NT7. Waiting for multicharts to add a chart trader then switch to multicharts cause I wanna be like Mike. Does that answer your question?
esignal, interactive brokers, some trading technology products (i think J trader from memory)
I too use both DOM and chart, but really like the visual aspect of placing trades on the chart.
Ideally I too would love MC to implement this aspect, as I would like to use it to automate my entires, and allow me to move the various trade management levels eg; Take profits, and stops around on the charts when I wish to move them.
(probably a long way off, but fingers crossed)
I cannot trade from DOM any more. I just started trading live again and have tried to use the DOM, but I cannot. I bought a 3 months subscription from Ninja and hoping in this 3 months, MultiCharts release v7 include chart trader. I am very tire of Ninja NOT listening to customers.
