Hello,
my favourite indicator is Ichimoku Kinko Hyo.
Loading this indicator into NT Version 7.0.1 causes that the so called "Cloud" isn't displayed 26 periods ahead of the last bar/candle.
The reason is that NT 7 doesn't support that. Very strange to me because ALL platforms I have tested correctly displays and calculates this indicator.
This was the answer from NT support:
Quoting
NinjaTrader does not support plotting values on the chart that are not bar values currently. It would be possible however would require some custom coding to allow this and an override of Plot to add this in. Most likely this has not been added to this to the free downloaded third party indicators is why you do not see this as since this is not supported by us therefor it would be up to the user to manually code this in.
A workaround to allow this to work is to use the displacement value and then code around that to allow this to work. However this would take adding this in with custom coding.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

I wonder if one could correct this indicator so that it works how it should be. If you want please contact me privately.
Thank you.

Hi Walter,
In the indicator control panel set the displacement to 26 and move with the mouse your chart right wise to see the rest of the cloud

Hi redratsal,
thanks for your answer.
Changing of displacement don't solve this problem. I have discussed it with NT support. Setting displacement to 26 moves the whole indicator 26 bars ahead and shows a untypical view of the current market.
It can only be corrected if one programmer looks into the code and apply it correctly to NT7.
Unfortunately I am not a coding expert so I seek for some support here.
Thanks again.

Try this one, the clouds are drawn in a different way, still you have to use the displacement. I cannot garantee it is what you are looking for.

Could you also tell us, which of the various Ichimoku Kinko Hyo indicators you have tried so far? Did you try this one as well?

Hi,
I understand! You have separated the cloud from the "lines"! Now the displacement works.
Thanks again.

Hi Walter,
Happy it works in case you'd need the lines separated as well.

I have downloaded this version of ICHIMOKU and imported it into NT 7. The cloud is cutted - see pic 1.
Overlaying the AAIchimoku cloud by the one redratsal posted - displays the cloud 26 periods/bars ahead - see pic 2.
