nobody should complain until they drive in a retirement community like Boca Raton.
Every 95 year old, which is the new 83, is buying a Cadillac.
Then:
They stand at a red light that turns green, than turns red, than Green Again....
G-d Forbid they exceed 20 MPH
..finally, if they get confused, stopping in the middle of the road for a "thinking moment" is not a problem.
The weather is great though...

Just another way to extract more money out of the pockets of citizens by governments that cant live within their means...God forbid they actually do something to reduce expenses...lets just take more from the sheeple.....

Normally I would agree but in this case it's a good thing....I'm guessing you don't get stuck behind those as$holes that park in the left lane....in fact they should make it a $500. fine
My favorite is the idiot who goes exact same speed as the car to the right of them. They are in the passing lane, yet don't pass. The guy on right speeds up 10 mph, they speed up 10 mph. Guy on right slows down 10 mph, they slow down 10 mph.
Oh, and both of them are going well under the speed limit, and holding up a mile of traffic behind them.
Of course, they don't even know what planet they are on, much less the speed limit, their current speed, or that anyone is behind them. And they are almost always on the phone.
All the while, I am behind them about to boil over into a nuclear meltdown. I don't know why it enrages me so much, but this does above almost all else.
I am cracking up from laughter now...this is EXACTLY what I go through!
The "Slow Poke" is driving in the left lane ahead of me, and once I move to the right in the hopes of passing him ...the guy one the right slows down and the guy in the fast lane became Mario Andretti.
Mike, sometimes I think they give driving licenses as a prize in cereal boxes.

I am glad to see I am not the only one that gets frustrated by people in the left lane holding up traffic.....it really does irritate me. I get very upset when a big rig goes to pass another big rig on the interstate...they seem to wait until I am just about on them and then the second guy pulls out to pass the first guy, generally near a hill that will slow both of them down considerably, and the second guy will take miles and miles to pass the first guy.....
The best place I have ever driven is Germany....you stay out of the left lane unless you can go about 125 mph (200 km/hr). And trucks will only pass other trucks and immediately get back into the right lane....the Germans built the Autobahn well and they know how to drive on it....
My focus is on:
1. Avoid the opening chop.
2. Honor stops
3. Ensure reward > risk on all trades
Apparently they are just out for a stroll. No place to be. No items to accomplish. No work to be done. Just a nice day to drive around clueless and be in utter bliss to your surroundings.
Maybe one day I will reach this heightened state of awareness, where I just float from one place to another with nothing that needs to be done and pay no attention to the world around me and have so much spare time on my hands that I need to kill some of it driving around.
I am not there yet. Generally when I am driving, I have a place to be. And time is valuable to me.
Ugh, I wish they'd do this in every state. Nothing enrages me like sitting behind a left lane camper! Some days I swear I'm the only person on the road who has places to be and things to do.
It seems to me that most law enforcement doesn't care about anything but speeding. Never mind the folks that are doing half the speed limit without their hazard lights on, never mind the folks that randomly drift from one lane to another with no warning or signal, never mind the general lack of focus on the road. I'd argue that all the other offenses cause far more accidents than speeding ever has... and isn't this all supposed to be about making the roads safe??
