When I read articles like this I question my life choices. I got no regrets with how things turned out, it just took longer to get where I am, but still...
Funny.... because I am jealous of you living in Chicago, my favorite town in US. Lived there for a month in 2010. Clean, friendly people, cute chicks, awesome waterfront, really liked the libraries... and of course you are close to the action.

It's kind of funny, he actually discourages trading. But I guess that's advice for complete novices. Honestly, I'm not sure I'd suggest someone to trade who is a novice looking for a full-time income in 4 hours either.

I thought so in my business. That providing value was the best way to get paid. Then I realized that everything comes with some risk. And if I am gonna take risk I want to be paid for it, whether it is in business or trading.
Interesting thoughts... I was thinking about it as black and white but now I see the line isn't that clearly defined.
Also, everything that comes with risk provides value. I suppose it's a spectrum... but I would still argue it is easier to make money in ventures where the value you provide far outweighs the risk you take.
