Likes or dislikes about your space and or changes you would like to make. Whether you use laptop, multiple monitors, projector, or just sit by the pool.

I've had at least 4 laptops grind to a halt, usually mid-trade of course so I asked the technicians at Lapyking which laptop doesn't breakdown, ever. Lapyking is a repair place in Sydney with 8 Chinese guys just fixing laptops. They all said the Toshiba Tecra & so far they're right. I don't surf the net on it & the kids know no club penguin or Dragon Ball Z on that computer. I've got a 27" Viewsonic screen connected because I'm looking at Trade Station, Trade Navigator & Ninja all at the same time. At the same time I've got a mac also attached to a big screen going. You can't trade on a mac but there's always something I'm checking or researching or horsing around with while I'm trading & macs are fast & reliable. So, 4 screens, 2 with charts & 2 with no charts.
I recently finished my trading office, its a nice room, in the basement, with a windows letting light in from outside, although when I trade the London session, not much light at 2AM...
But its close to the kitchen, so I can get up and get some food when I get hungry.
here are a few pics of it.
I posted this in another thread, so forgive me for the same info, but the center is an iMAC, with a second display above it, I use the iMAC for order entry, using a VM-WARE windows workstation, and the other computer is my charting computer, running NT, Esignal, trade navigator, etc.
Very stable this way, Only used for Charting, no web surfing, etc. Only use the iMAC for this, and also have a spare laptop that I keep up and ready when I trade, in case I need a backup.
I'm totally relaxed when I'm in my 'trading room' ... :-) This is a picture from this summer, now I have 4 cinema screens. It's on the top floor of a big building in Brussels, in fact, I live on the 2 highest floors of that building. The only neighbors I have are below me, and that's GOOD.
