There are two videos here for those that are interested. The text of
the videos are below the video box as well. They are from last year.
If you see these, it might be somewhat of a spoiler. PBS really does
this stuff well. They have many other videos about finance, etc.
Geithner names ex-lobbyist as Treasury chief of staff 1/27/2009
WASHINGTON — Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner picked a former Goldman Sachs lobbyist as a top aide Tuesday, the same day he announced rules aimed at reducing the role of lobbyists in agency decisions. Mark Patterson will serve as Geithner's chief of staff at Treasury, which oversees the government's $700 billion financial bailout program. Goldman Sachs received $10 billion of that money.
didn't like it.... felt like it was a waste of time.
It's kind of a catch 22....
The audience it was intended for is not going to watch it. Those of us who do want to watch it are already familiar the situation, so it's a rehash.
I would have rather seen one or two hour long interviews with a lot of the interviewees; or even better round tables with them.
Yes Mike I've seen it on my flight back from Detroit to Amsterdam two weeks ago. It is a must see I would say. The financial system is sick and there is a lot more misery to come if only half of the information is true. It made me sick watching it. It also made me more than ever aware that you shoudn't rely on the system and you need to try to make yourself independend from it. Becoming a successful trader is my goal to reach this independency.
I think at one point in time people will turn against the establishment and a new revolution is born.
Everybody interested in the finacial market should watch it .......
